Christin L. Phillips heads Appraisers and Planners’ business in Philadelphia while continuing to serve New York clients. She brings years of experience in financial management, business development, legal and contract analysis and commercial real estate appraisal to every assignment.

In addition to many notable New York properties, Philadelphia properties she has recently appraised include the 1.4 million square foot, historic Wanamaker building in Center City; the 300,000 square foot Marketplace Design Center in Center City; and the 69th Street Mall in Upper Darby, an 850,000 square foot urban renewal retail corridor that is part of the Market Street Gateway Project.

A certified general appraiser, Christin joined Appraisers & Planners in 2005 after a decade of building global partnerships and markets for both Time Inc., the magazine publishing division of Time Warner, and Ziff-Davis Media.

Christin holds a BA in Political Science from the College of Charleston and an MBA, with a concentration in Investment Analysis, from the University of Hartford. She attended classes at New York University, Temple University and the national Appraisal Institute to meet requirements for the certified general appraiser state licensure in Pennsylvania and New York.

At Time Inc. she served as Director, Asia Pacific where her responsibilities included regional business development of magazine licenses; operational and financial management of 20+ publishers in the region and brand strategy and presentation. She was the lead developer on 5 of Time Inc.s’ international magazine launches. 

At Ziff Davis Media, Christin served as the Director of the International Division with business development responsibilities for Europe and Central Europe.  She identified, negotiated and developed over 30 licensing arrangements for the company.

She has lived in London, England and Amsterdam, NL, while serving as finance manager for the international division of Pepe Jeans Europe, B.V. in addition to living and studying in Paris, France while obtaining her MBA. She is fluent in French.

Christin has resided in Philadelphia since 2006 and continues to work and support clients in both Philadelphia and New York.
